Adoption Animals

Hello....

It's been forever, and I haven't posted anything, and I have alot of things I've been meaning to post, and never have.... *Sigh*
One day I'll post something relevant, but until then.... well, no, this is relevant... these poor critters. This is the best and the worst part of my job. The adoption animals.

I just figured I'd post a link so you can view some of the beautiful critters I see every day.

Awww... look at all those kitties, they're so sweet! I wish I could just adopt all of them! I'm not so sure that I'd be able to work there, because I'd want to take every one of them home.

It is sad to see so many animals that no one wants. It must be hard for you not to take them all home. I imagine that would not be a fun part of your job, especially if you had to see one put down or something. Too sad.

It's hard some days, but it's awesome to be there when someone comes in looking for a cat and they fall for one of them and I know that one of 'my kitties' just found a good home. And thankfully they never, ever slot an animal for euthanasia, even if it's a hard-to-adopt kitty. If it's ferral and just won't socialize then it gets fixed so it can't add to the overwhelming cat population, and is released back where it was trapped, and if it's difficult, but not a wild cat, it stays in the program till the right person comes along (there was a cat in the program for 2 years before it finally got a home) The only time a cat in the program would be put down was if it was dying and in massive pain and the clinic couldn't fix it. But yeah, I want to give them all a home... I would if I could. I'm trying to convince Ryan to foster Diamond, the senior kitty we have... to get her out of the kennels for a while and into a house... she's old and short haired and wouldn't be a problem. She just sleeps in her bed most of the day.

I am a sucker for animals....which explains why I have so many of them. It's hard to see them in small cages and not want to take them home.

Awww, that's good to know that they don't euthanise the animals. I wouldn't be able to stand that. I'd smuggle them all home. I'd have lots of kitties.

copy and paste that into your browser. I was about to get the bridesmaid dress when I saw that one, and really liked it more (mostly because you can wear a normal bra with it) and I thought that pink flowers would look great in front of it. I called Kathy about it and you, but then I missed you when you called back. Oh, and it's half the price which was a big plus for me right now, as we're well...rather poor. Let me know what you think.
