On Saturday night I witnessed my first Cirque du Soleil show, called Varekai.
WOW!

If you ever need to be reminded that God created the human race to be fantastic creatures, who can accomplish so much if they try, all you need to do is go see one of those shows. And it's not just the performers. The make-up, costumes, sets, lighting and of course the music, are astounding, and all conceived and created by people. People who you might pass in the streets without a second thought. Human beings are incredible. And so, if we, the shallow reflections, the small likeness', are so awe-inspiring in our creativity and abilities, how much more so is God?

This was probably my favourite act... not that you can really have a true favourite, as they are all different and all so incredible... but they flew through the air so amazingly. They're brothers, and you can tell... the trust they must have, and the connection, to do what they do. Yikers. They have a cord that they hold on to, and it goes up and down, and they spin, and fly all over the stage. Sometimes only one would hold the cord, and the other would be held up only by the grip on one arm. It was beautiful. And it had the best song to it.

Then the next day we walked to the Waterfront and saw 3 large Cruise Ships, and I marvelled at what we could build. Then Ryan took me to my first 3D Imax. We went and saw Deep Sea 3D.

Really, this world, and every single thing it is INCREDIBLE!!
You're incredible.
I'm incredible.
Everything, everywhere, is incredible.
At the moment, I love and appreciate the human race, though I'm saddened by it's destructive nature, and I LOVE the world and all it's diversity.

In time this will pass, and things will once again become mundane, and I'll miss alot of the incredible-ness in things, until something comes along to open my eyes again, but for now I'm just basking in the awe. ;)

Hey Sarah...how have you been?? I am guessing really good. So glad for you and Ryan, and can't wait to see all of you guys again. Those are some really nice and interesting pic's...very artsy...bye, and talk to you soon.
Sarah,
In your last post you said that you felt like you had never heard God speak to you. Reading this post all I could think was, "Wow. God just came down and touched her heart." You may still be confused about what you and Ryan should do, but hearing God? I think He just spoke to loud and clear through the experiences you have had the past few days. That is often how we hear Him. Just pray that He will open and close doors in your future according to His plan.
Sarah, I felt the same way watching Deep Blue on DVD. It was amazing. I'm glad you and Ryan got to have such a great weekend.
Wow, sounds amazing. Hopefully some time I can go and see it, although I am not sure that Art would share my thoughts on the Cirque de SoLei thingy.
I'd LOVE to see Cirque de Soleil one of these times. I'll go with you, Mom, it would be fun. You're lucky to have seen it, Sarah, it must have been incredible! I'm glad that you guys had a great time!
